persons responsible, sequence of activities, observable results, references,
etc.)
Description:
Each morning on the announcements, the principal Mrs. Reuse reads any
Goodfinder Awards she has received from the staff. The students who receive
awards are then called to the office so that the principal can congratulate
the students and allow them to select awards.
Each quarter there is a Goodfinder Award Assembly. At that time the parents
are invited to attend and see their children honored. Mrs. Reuse explains
the program to the parents and then gives the children the opportunity
to tell the audience why they received their Goodfinder Awards. The Guidance
Counselor introduces all the students and the PTA provides the refreshments
for the guests and students. During the assembly the students receive
a pencil and gift certificates from local restaurants. They also receive
a Goodfinder Award Certificate.
It is the belief of the staff at Frost Elementary School that all children
are good and that all children are worthwhile individuals. As a result,
all children who attend Frost Elementary School receive a Goodfinder Award
during the school year.
